Calabar Carnival

The Calabar Carnival is Africa’s biggest street party, held annually in Calabar, Cross River State, Nigeria.

The event features colourful parades, themed carnival bands, music, dance, fashion, cultural performances, and international participation. It attracts thousands of local and international visitors every year and has become a major driver of tourism, hospitality, and cultural exchange in the region.

Calabar Carnival showcases Nigeria’s cultural diversity while positioning Calabar as a leading tourism destination in Africa.
